Student Store: PTSA runs the student store at Eisenhower. To offer this service to students during their lunchtime on Mondays through Thursdays (9:50AM-1:20PM) each week, we need dedicated volunteers to help manage the store. Auction & Bingo Night: In order to support students activities, teachers/staff grants, and IKE's community activities, PTSA needs your help to fundraise. PTSA will host our first Auction & Bingo Night on Friday 3/22/24 from 5-8PM. We need committee volunteers to help with planning the event and procuring donations. Book Fair: PTSA will be hosting a Scholastics Book Fair in the first week of December (in-person: 12/4-12/6 & 12/8; online: all week). Students will be able to shop before school (7:50-8:10AM), during lunches (10:19AM-12:49PM) and after school (2:50-3:15PM). We will also be opening on Wednesday 12/6 for a late night shopping from 5-7PM. In order to make this event a success, we need your help. Spelling Bee: PTSA is working on bringing back our Spelling Bee event for Eisenhower's students. Family Fun Festival: This will be our 3rd Family Fun Festival. The festival will be held on Saturday 5/18/24 from 1-4 PM. We will need help with set-up (10 AM-12:30 PM), running the activities (12:30-4 PM), and clean-up (3:30-5:30 PM). This event is free for all students and families of Eisenhower. Last year, we had games, an ice cream truck, cotton candy, donuts, bingo, a photo booth, raffle & door prizes, as well as a learning opportunity with the local fire truck and Eisenhower police officer. We also need committee volunteers to help plan this event, including securing donations, arranging vendors, organizing games/activities, and purchasing snacks/prizes. School Day Volunteers: Eisenhower is looking for parent volunteers to come help during lunch hours by being present and available to talk to students. Parent volunteers are also needed in teachers’ classrooms, during recess, and before school (to help with student drop-off and directing traffic).
